Cheap illy 8.8 oz. Whole Bean Espresso 7802 Review
Espresso Beans - Discount whole bean coffee from around the world.
I am a coffee snob, raised by eastern European coffee experts. I have searched for the ultimate whole bean, espresso roast (yet not roasted at too high a temperature) This coffee is rich and full bodied and doesn't have that burnt taste. It tastes like what great coffee smells like-delicious! It also makes great ice coffee. I just put the extra in the refrigerator because I just can't waste a drop. I have used it in my drip machine and in my espresso machine. I love it! I am hooked.
I will never go back to those big, stale brands. Comes in a gorgeous copper gift quality bag that is bio-degradable.
No need for a detailed review, these beans make great espresso. I have a Gaggia Classic espresso maker and a Krups burr grinder to grind the beans, and this trio (Lavazza Super Crema Beans + machine + grinder) makes fantastic espresso every time. The crema is perfect, there is not the slightest hint of bitterness. My only warning about these beans is that if you own an espresso maker at home, you should be real careful buying these beans as you may find yourself going crazy making espressos. These beans consistently make an espresso that is as good or better than anything I've found commercially in the US (and I'm not going to rant about the coffee beverage that Starbucks sells as espresso and puts in a paper cup). This bag of espresso beans is definitely more expensive than what you can find in the grocery store (or elsewhere), but this is a case of you get what you pay for. If you like espresso, this is money well spent.
I don't know much about coffee but I saw this on Amazon and thought I'd take a chance and give it a try. WoW! I don't think I could ever go back to Starbucks. It is really strong but with no bitterness. I have a friend who knows a few things about coffee and she was really impressed. I totally recommend this product.
